The development, production, treatment and distribution of high performance seed products is today’s greatest challenge.

Seed Co products are the end result of long-term scientific breeding programmes. They are designed to add value to every farming operation where they apply, since they bring with them appropriate immunity, resistance or tolerance to diseases and reliable high yield performance. They are produced, cleaned, graded, treated, packed and delivered for the exacting demands of modern farming.

Seed Co is the certified company authorised to market seed varieties developed by itself, government and other associated seed breeders.

To ensure continued, adequate investment in research and development of seed, all Seed Co hybrids and varieties are protected under the Plant Breeders Rights Act in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya and South Africa.

This act prohibits unauthorized seed production or sales of such products as seed, and the use of protected varieties to produce a hybrid or different varieties.

Seed Co has protected its germ-plasm to ensure that our customers have unlimited access to the best genetics, both now and in the future.
